This work is in two parts: a photograph taken in the Officine Meccaniche Reggiane Spa, a steel works in Reggio Emilia, depicting a steel structure used both as a bench in a makeshift social space in one corner of the factory, and the object made from architectural drawings translated from the image, thus bringing into play acts of reconstruction and dialogue between related skills and knowledge across cultures.
