Look Over 3 is a floor work made from tape and string which demarcate to scale, floor plans for the conversion of office buildings to residential accommodation. The reference to restrictive and inhumane building practices raises issues relating to housing affordability, urban infrastructure and the need to advocate for improved living environments. A performance, assisted by George Bularca and Eimhin Daly, in the Clore Studio at The South London Gallery, involved a process of disassembly questioned the negotiation of space, and the politics of making and unmaking. The event marked the launch of Tallentire’s monograph spanning the last ten years of her practice.
