A work made for Pretext Heteronyms, an exhibition inspired by the plural identities of the modernist Portuguese poet, Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935). Curated by Juliet Steyn (Rear Window) and Richard Appignanesi, this exhibition was staged at Clink Street, London. Under the name ‘R.L Aret’ work-seth/tallentire built a wall to obscure a window that overlooked the street below leaving only a narrow slit at one end through which the back of the wall and the edge of the window frame could be seen.
